Just noticed that the The Sovereign Grand Lodge website - ioof.org has been redesigned and it's got a much better professional look. It also has other information about the National programs and events of the IOOF.

Yeah! The Kentucky Derby was a success!
Everyone had a grand time at the Kentucky Derby party last week. The lodge even did okay on it's first try. Some folks got lucky with the horses and others did even better. This is sure to be an annual event for RVC#279. Those mint juleps will be sorely missed.

This Saturday (5/9/09) there will be a reception for The Sovereign Grand Master of the State of New York, Raymond Holguin at 7:00pm. Please attend this very important meeting hosted by District Deputy Grand Master Stephen Janicek of Mineola Lodge.
