Oddfellows Long Tradition

Rockville Centre Lodge 279 of The Independent Order of Odd Fellows donated turkeys to the Recreation Center’s food drive for distribution to local organizations and families. Lodge 279 has been involved with both local and national charities since 1888. Congratulations to our new officers!

We would like to welcome our Tom Bogue to his office as Noble Grand for Rockville Centre Lodge, as well as his slate of officers for the new term. The ceremony was short and sweet and we all offer our congratulations to:

Nassau District Annual Picnic

Odd Fellows, please join us on Saturday July 9th for a day of fun and food at Wantagh Park. That's at 1 King Rd. Just south of Merrick Rd. off Woodland Ave. in Wantagh.

The fun starts early (10:00am) and lasts well into the afternoon. RVC supplies the drinks and Mineola supplies the food. Hosted by District Deputy Grand Master Ed Pyne.

Kentucky Derby Party on May 7th

That's right, it's back. The lodge will be having our annual Kentucky Derby Party on Saturday, May 7th at  3:00pm

Admission is $20.00 - neat casual attire preferred.

Watch the race live from Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY and sip on a mint julep while you bet on the races.
Bet $5.00 on any horse in all the day's races.
